This necklace is made up of three strands of beautifully lustrous Akoya Keshi pearls.
It is assembled with memory wire rather than thread, which creates a beautiful line around the neck.
※What is Akoya Keshi Pearl?
Akoya Keshi pearls, which look like very small grains of sand, are accidentally formed when nacreous layers of mother-of-pearl are coated around grains of particle called silt, which are even finer than grains of sand that are accidentally introduced into the Akoya shell.
The Akoya Keshi pearls used in sCene are carefully selected and bought from the rarest, round-shaped pearls with beautiful white surfaces, and threaded.
These very small perforated keshi pearls are made in India by skilled artisans who drill each hole in a difficult and technically demanding process.
