Keshi Backing - 4mm Akoya Keshi
These Akoya Keshi pearl earring backs subtly add a touch of elegance to your existing earrings.
Three Akoya Keshi pearls, approximately 3-4mm in size, are set on each K10 gold wire, which forms a gentle curve.
The small Keshi pearls peeking out from behind your ear create a soft rhythm.
They can be paired with simple single-pearl earrings or simply added to your existing earrings to effortlessly make your everyday outfit more impressive.
The earring back is compatible with post sizes of φ0.7-0.9mm.
For "ESSENTIALS" earrings, this corresponds to pearl sizes of 6.5-7.0mm and above.
They can also be used with the K18YG Stud from the popular "COLLECTIBLE PEARL" series.
*Please note that the fit will be slightly tighter.
*What are Keshi Pearls?
Keshi pearls are pearls that are accidentally formed in pearl-producing oysters when foreign matter, such as sand grains, enters the shell, stimulating it.
The foreign matter slightly damages the inside of the shell, and the cells that form pearls enter the interior, causing nacre layers to form.
Regular pearls are created by inserting a round nucleus around which nacre layers are wrapped, but Keshi pearls lack this nucleus, resulting in unique, natural-looking forms.
However, most of them have scratches or protrusions, and it is very rare to find round or beautifully shaped pearls of high quality.
