【COLLECTIBLE】Kiyoto Hoshika Maple Specimen Stand - Brown
Maple specimen stand to display COLLECTIBLE PEARLS, specially made by recorder and flute maker Kiyoto Hoshika.
Compared to the initial version, both the base and glass dome are made a size larger.
It is made using the same method as woodwind instruments, where wood is rotated and carved using a machine called a wood lathe.
Maple is a wood used for recorders, known for its smooth texture and silky luster.
This one is painted dark brown and finished with linseed oil, which is also used in recorder making.
*The boxwood of the same color has been discontinued.
The classic and substantial feel beautifully highlights the pearls.
This unique specimen stand is made for pearls, featuring beautiful curves crafted with very delicate handwork and the stunning beauty of the wood grain.
There is also an unpainted natural color version available.

Produces recorders and flutes used in the Renaissance and Baroque periods, tuned to historical temperaments.
His high-quality works are beloved by musicians, symphony orchestras, and professionals at historical museums worldwide, including exhibitions at instrument shows in Belgium.

Care Instructions
・This specimen stand has an oil finish. For daily care, wipe with a dry cloth or a tightly wrung damp cloth. If it dries out over time, apply oil maintenance and allow it to dry thoroughly.
Each customer may purchase a total of two units, combining natural and brown colors. If you wish to purchase two units, you may choose two of the same color (e.g., two natural or two brown) or one of each. Please note that orders for three or more units will be canceled.
