Pendulum Brooch - Black MOP & Gray Akoya Pearl A
A brooch combining a pearl with its "mother shell" – mother-of-pearl.
This piece uses black-lipped oyster shell.
The mother-of-pearl, predominantly black to gray with an iridescent sheen, has unique interference colors and patterns in each piece.
The high-quality Akoya pearls, with a gray base and pink and blue interference colors appearing at certain angles, stand out even more with their pink nuances when paired with dark-colored attire, such as black.
It features a somewhat unusual pendulum-like structure, meticulously crafted so that no metal is visible from the front.
With a slight movement, the shell and pearl sway, creating a simple yet eye-catching brooch.
