Pendulum Brooch - Black MOP & Gray Akoya Pearl B
A brooch combining a "mother shell" that nurtures pearls—mother-of-pearl—and pearls themselves.
This one uses a black-lip pearl oyster.
The mother-of-pearl, featuring iridescent luster on a base of black to gray, has unique interference colors and patterns.
We paired it with gray Akoya pearls whose red or blue interference colors emerge depending on the angle.
With a slightly unusual pendulum-like swaying structure, it is carefully finished so that no metal is visible from the front.
With every slight movement, the shell and pearl sway, making it a simple yet eye-catching brooch.
