Wandering Pearl Chain Necklace - Tahitian & Akoya Keshi
This chain necklace features a green-hued black butterfly pearl at the center, combined with two different colors of small, white Akoya Keshi pearls on the sides. The K18 slide ball, which contains silicone and has a Keshi pearl attached, can be moved to any desired position on the chain.
We selected a rare 7mm round black butterfly pearl. The green is slightly pale but has a beautiful pink overtone, giving it an elegant yet glamorous feel. The Akoya Keshi pearls, with their charmingly elongated forms, boast exceptional luster and color, cultivated by the same Tsushima farmer who produced "Umi Hotaru" pearls.
The chain is an 18K Venetian chain with a slider, reaching a maximum length of 45cm.
The side Keshi pearls can be arranged in various ways to suit your preferred style: slightly away from the center, right next to the center pearl, or even moved towards the back where the clasp is located.
What are Keshi Pearls?
Keshi pearls are accidentally formed pearls that occur during the cultivation of cultured pearls.
Unlike pearls formed by nacre layers wrapping around a round nucleus, Keshi pearls have no nucleus, resulting in unique and individual shapes.
However, most of them have imperfections such as scratches, blemishes on the surface, or protrusions, and it is rare to find many well-rounded or high-quality ones.
