Wandering Pearl Chain Necklace - Akoya & Akoya Keshi
This chain necklace combines two different colors: a salmon pink Akoya pearl at the center and small, white Akoya Keshi pearls on the sides.
The K18 slide ball with silicone, featuring the Keshi pearl, can be moved to any position on the chain.
This orange-tinted salmon pink pearl is a pearl that allows you to experience the natural beauty of Akoya pearls, as it has been free of black spots and irregularities since it was harvested, and has not undergone pre-treatment or color adjustment.
Both the salmon pink pearl and the Keshi pearl were produced by the same Tsushima farmer as the "Umihotaru" (Sea Firefly) pearls, and their luster, nacre thickness, and fine texture are of excellent quality.
The chain is an 18K Venetian chain with a slider, extending up to 45cm.
The Keshi pearls on the sides can be arranged in a variety of ways to suit your preferred style, such as positioned slightly away from the center, right next to the center pearl, or moved towards the back where the clasp is.
*What are Keshi pearls?
Keshi pearls are accidentally produced during the cultivation of cultured pearls.
Unlike pearls formed by nacre wrapping around a round nucleus, Keshi pearls do not have a nucleus, resulting in unique shapes.
However, most of them have imperfections such as scratches, spots, or protrusions on their surface, and it is rare to find those with a round shape or good quality.
