Wandering Pearl Chain Necklace - Twin Akoya & Tahitian Keshi

A chain necklace featuring a rare twin Akoya pearl at the center, combined with deep red-purple Tahitian Keshi pearls on the sides.
The K18 slide ball with silicone, adorned with a Keshi pearl, can be moved to any desired position on the chain.
Perfect for both simple and special occasions, it can be styled in a variety of ways to suit your preference.

About Twin Pearls

These are special pearls formed during cultivation when, instead of a single nucleus, two nuclei are accidentally inserted.
The two nuclei remain close together within the shell, and nacre layers build up around them, eventually forming a single pearl.
Because they are born from such accidental conditions, they are also called "twin pearls" and are very rare and valuable due to their scarcity.

A Special Pearl from the Tsushima "Umi Hotaru" Pearl Farm

This twin pearl was specially acquired from the Tsushima pearl farm that produces the popular "Umi Hotaru" (Sea Firefly) pearls, also featured in COLLECTIBLE PEARL.
Its charm lies in its calm blue-gray hue and the unique expression created by the differing forms on its left and right sides.

Arrange Freely by Moving the Tahitian Keshi Pearl

Keshi
The K18 slide ball with silicone, adorned with a Tahitian Keshi pearl, can be freely slid along the chain.
You can place it next to the center pearl, move it to the side as an accent, or shift it towards the clasp at the back, allowing for a wide range of styling options to suit your preference.

About Keshi Pearls

Keshi pearls are accidentally formed when foreign matter, such as a grain of sand, enters the shell of a cultivated pearl oyster, irritating it.
The foreign matter slightly damages the inside of the shell, causing the cells that produce pearls to enter and form nacre layers.
Unlike regular pearls, which are created by inserting a round nucleus around which nacre layers are formed, Keshi pearls have no nucleus, resulting in unique, naturally-formed shapes.
However, most of them have imperfections or protrusions, and it is very rare to find those that are round or of beautifully uniform quality.
