This page describes the terms and conditions for the sample rental service provided by Pearl House Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") through https://scenes-jewelry.com/ (hereinafter referred to as "the Site").

1. Establishment of Sample Rental Service Agreement

The customer shall apply for the sample rental service on the Site operated by the Company, agreeing to the terms and conditions of the sample rental service. The sample rental service agreement between the customer and the Company shall be established when the Company deems the customer's application appropriate after the completion of the procedures for the relevant product. The Company shall not be obliged to explain the reason in the event that the use is refused.

2. Rental Period, Delays, and Extensions

1. The sample rental period shall generally be within one week from the designated sample receipt date (return arrangements completed), including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
2. The customer shall return the sample to the Company within one week from the designated sample receipt date (return arrangements completed).
3. The customer shall be obligated to return the sample to the Company by the rental deadline. If the return deadline is exceeded without contact, the sample will be treated as lost.
4. If the customer is unable to return the sample by the rental deadline due to their own circumstances or wishes to extend the rental period, they must immediately contact the Company via the contact page on this site, or by email or phone. Failure to do so will result in the sample being treated as lost.
5. Extensions to the rental period shall only be granted if the customer contacts the Company and the Company provides consent and agreement is reached.
6. The extended rental period shall be determined by the Company.
7. If the returned sample does not reach the Company despite the customer arranging for its delivery, the Company may contact the customer, and the customer shall independently confirm the status with the designated delivery company or the delivery company used by the customer, and report/explain the status to the Company. If the customer cannot be reached, the sample will be treated as lost due to customer circumstances.

3. Sample Rental Fees

The rental fee shall be the amount stated on the website and the delivery note.

4. Responsibility for Sample Use and Management

The customer shall use and manage the rented product with due care as a user. The customer shall use the product in accordance with its intended purpose. In the event that any damage is caused to the customer or a third party due to use or management contrary to these terms, the customer shall be responsible for resolving such damage, and the Company shall bear no responsibility whatsoever.

5. Loss, Damage, or Soiling of Rented Samples

1. If a rented sample is lost, damaged, or soiled due to the customer's responsibility (including loss, damage, or soiling after return arrangements have been made), the Company may, in principle, charge the customer the full cost of replacing the sample with an equivalent product, or the repair cost, and the shipping fee from the Company.
2. If the customer fails to return the rented sample by the deadline despite the Company's demand within the specified period, the Company may, in principle, charge the customer the full cost of replacing the sample with an equivalent product, or the repair cost, and the shipping fee from the Company.

6. Compensation for Theft or Fire of Rented Samples

If a sample product becomes unusable due to theft or fire, the customer must provide a theft report or a disaster certificate. If the Company receives insurance benefits, we will not claim compensation to the extent of the insurance benefits received.

7. Precautions

1. Please refrain from using the samples for purposes other than their intended use, such as for commercial purposes.
2. Sample lending is limited to within Japan.
3. The Company shall not be held responsible for any damages incurred by the customer or any claims made by a third party against the customer as a result of using the borrowed samples.

8. Prohibited Actions

1. Wearing the rented sample outside or for extended periods.
2. Allowing a third party to use the rented sample.
3. Transferring or lending the rented sample to a third party, whether for a fee or free of charge.
4. Intentionally causing damage to the rented sample, such as dropping it from a high place.
5. Disassembling or modifying the rented sample.
6. Any other act that causes or may cause inconvenience, disadvantage, or damage to the Company.

9. Response to Violations of These Terms

If a user violates these terms, the Company will take the following actions. The violator shall not raise any objections or complaints against the Company's measures.

1. Suspension of service use without prior notice.
2. Discussions regarding improvement of the violating act and billing for costs.

10. Revision of Terms

The Company may change or revise these terms without the user's permission when it deems appropriate.
