A beautiful untreated Akoya pearl with a blue-green base and pink interference colors.
When exposed to sunlight or strong light, it exhibits a soft color with a milky white hue.
On cloudy days or in dimly lit places, the blue-green color appears more pronounced. This is a mysterious pearl with the unique beauty and interesting characteristics of Akoya pearls, which create color by layering thin nacre.
About Akoya Pearls
Akoya pearls, which generally have a white image, are typically creamy or yellowish when first harvested, and often have black spots or impurities visible inside.
Therefore, Akoya pearls undergo pretreatment or bleaching to remove stains. This process simultaneously removes the yellow tint from the entire pearl, making it whiter. However, it also removes the reddish hues that the Akoya pearl originally possessed. To compensate for this, a small amount of red dye is used to apply a coloring treatment to the inside of the nacre over time.
This is not a dyeing (coloring) process, but rather a recognized part of "enhancement treatment," which refers to the minimal processing that brings out the inherent beauty of the material. Currently, it is generally understood that Akoya pearls are expected to undergo this coloring treatment. The presence of this treatment does not diminish the value of the colored pearl, and it is properly evaluated as a valuable gem.
*Untreated Akoya pearls refer to those that have not undergone the coloring treatment after the initial pretreatment.

【Nickel-Free】

Our metal parts (K18, PT900) are "nickel-free," made without any nickel, which is a common cause of metal allergies.
※This does not guarantee that all individuals will be free from metal allergic reactions. If you experience any skin abnormalities, please discontinue use immediately and consult a medical professional.
【Handling of Screw Parts】

This product features "anti-loosening treatment" applied to the screw threads of the screw parts.
※Some parts are untreated
This treatment involves coating the screw threads with a thin, elastic film to prevent screws from loosening due to vibrations, through friction.
However, as it does not lock the screws, loosening may occur depending on usage conditions.
To ensure safer use, please ensure the screws are firmly tightened before wearing, and periodically check for any loosening during wear.
This product uses K18 or Pt900.
Compared to materials like iron, these metals are not as hard, so the screw parts may wear down or break depending on usage.
Please be careful not to apply excessive upward or downward force when screwing the parts on.
Should the screw parts deteriorate to the point where use becomes difficult, please consult us. We can offer repair services or propose remodeling ideas to transform it into a different piece of jewelry.
Please contact us via the contact page on our website.
【Precautions】
