A refreshing, clear blue "Umihotaru" (sea firefly) pearl.
A deep blue with vivid pink interference colors that shimmer depending on the angle of light.
Its form is generally rounded, yet when viewed from directly above, it's a plump, horizontally elongated pearl of about 5mm.
It pairs perfectly with stud earrings or fill-gap rings.
※What is "Umihotaru"?
A naturally blue baroque Akoya pearl, cultivated by one of Japan's leading farmers with 120 years of history in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Only pearls with a mysterious blue color, as if reflecting the sea of Tsushima, are named "Umihotaru" and certified as a pearl brand.
The beautiful interference colors of Akoya pearls are created when organic components of the shell penetrate into the nacre layers.
Natural blue color occurs accidentally, so it is rare and very valuable for it to appear beautifully covering the entire pearl.
Natural blue Akoya pearls are said to be prone to color changes, but "Umihotaru" pearls have thick nacre layers and rich color, and undergo preservation processes under strict management to prevent color changes.
Customers who purchase these pearls will receive a card certifying them as Umihotaru.

The metal fittings (K18, PT900) are made to be "nickel-free," containing no nickel, which is a common cause of metal allergies.

【Handling of Screw Parts】
This product features "loosening prevention processing" on the screw threads of its screw parts.
※Some parts are unprocessed.
By coating the screw threads with a thin, elastic film, this processing uses friction to prevent screws from loosening due to vibrations.
However, as it does not completely lock, screws may still loosen depending on usage conditions.
When using, please ensure the screw is tightened securely before wearing, and periodically check for any loosening during wear for safer use.
This product uses K18 or Pt900.
Compared to materials like iron, its hardness is not as high, so there is a risk of the screw part wearing down or breaking depending on usage.
Please be careful not to apply excessive upward or downward force when screwing it on.
