Pinky Open Ring - Akoya Keshi
This K18 pinky ring is adorned with tiny Akoya Keshi pearls, measuring about 4-5mm.
The ring band is carefully shaped one by one from K18 round bar and finished in a flat form.
Its delicate lines and moderately matte texture add a calm impression to your fingertip.
The design is an open type, making it light and comfortable to wear.
Its minimalist appearance, not overly flashy, allows you to wear it casually every day.
We use Akoya Keshi pearls, which, despite their small size, boast a delicate brilliance.
Depending on the angle of light, soft pink and green interference colors subtly emerge, gently enveloping the skin in light.
Not overly showy, their gentle presence softly nestles on your fingertip, seamlessly blending into everyday life and shining beautifully in unexpected moments.
*What are Keshi pearls?
Keshi pearls are pearls that are accidentally formed in cultured pearl shells when foreign matter such as sand grains enter and irritate the shell.
The inside of the shell is slightly damaged by the foreign matter, and the cells that form the pearl enter the interior, forming nacre.
Regular pearls are created by inserting a round nucleus around which nacre is layered, but Keshi pearls do not have this nucleus, resulting in unique, naturally formed shapes.
However, most of them have scratches or protrusions, and it is rare to find round or beautifully shaped pearls of high quality.
