Wandering Pearl Chain Necklace - Tahitian & Akoya Keshi
This chain necklace features a green-hued black pearl at the center and two different colors of small, white Akoya Keshi pearls on the sides.
The K18 slide ball, which contains silicone and has Keshi pearls attached, can be moved to any desired position on the chain.
We selected 7.5mm pearls, a rare size for round-shaped black pearls.
The nuanced gray-green color exudes a soft, matte luster.
The charmingly plump Akoya Keshi pearls are cultivated by the same farmer in Tsushima who produces "Umi Hotaru" pearls, boasting excellent luster and color.
The chain used is a K18 Venetian chain with a slider, adjustable up to 45cm.
The side Keshi pearls can be positioned widely to suit your preferred style, such as slightly away from the center, alongside the center pearl, or moved to the back where the clasp is located.
*What are Keshi pearls?
Keshi pearls are pearls that are accidentally produced during the cultivation of cultured pearls.
Unlike pearls formed by nacre wrapping around a round nucleus, Keshi pearls do not have a nucleus, resulting in unique shapes.
However, most of them have flaws such as scratches, blemishes, or protrusions on the surface, and it is rare to find perfectly round or high-quality ones.
