A Umihotaru (sea firefly) baroque pearl with a drop-like shape resembling a light bulb.
It has a moderate presence with a width of approximately 8.0mm and a length of approximately 9.8mm.
It is recommended for pairing with hook-type earrings or charms, and this single pearl is likely to add individuality to your styling.
It has a yellowish bluish color with a faint pink interference color, and when viewed especially on dark clothing, the pink interference color gently floats up, which is very beautiful.
※What is Umihotaru (Sea Firefly)?
Naturally colored blue baroque Akoya pearls cultivated by one of Japan's leading farmers, who has been in business for 120 years in Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Only pearls with a mysterious blue color that seems to reflect the sea of Tsushima are named "Umihotaru" and certified as a single pearl brand.
The beautiful interference colors of Akoya pearls are created when organic components of the shell enter the nacre layer.
Naturally colored blue is an incidental color, so it is rare and very valuable for it to appear beautifully covering the entire pearl.
While naturally colored blue Akoya pearls are considered susceptible to color changes, "Umihotaru" pearls have thick nacre and a deep color, and undergo a preservation process under strict management to minimize color changes.
Customers who purchase these pearls will receive a card certifying them as Umihotaru.
You can read an interview with the Umihotaru producers here.
【Dedicated Parts】※Dedicated parts are sold separately. Dedicated parts can be found here
We offer dedicated rings and earrings in K18 Yellow Gold or Pt900 that can be fitted with COLLECTIBLE PEARLs.
A collection that offers unique and beautiful valuable pearls in screw-type jewelry.
The screw structure allows for free combinations of pearls and various base parts such as earrings and rings.
【Nickel-free】

The metal fittings (K18, PT900) are "nickel-free," made without any nickel, which is prone to causing metal allergies.
※This does not guarantee that no one will experience a metal allergy reaction (allergy-free). If you experience any skin abnormalities, discontinue use immediately and consult a medical specialist.
【Handling of Screw Parts】

This product has an "anti-loosening treatment" applied to the screw threads of the screw parts.
※Some parts are untreated
By coating the screw threads with a thin, elastic film, this treatment suppresses the loosening of screws due to vibrations through friction.
However, it does not lock the screw, so depending on the usage conditions, screws may still loosen.
When using, please ensure the screw is securely tightened before wearing, and periodically check for any loosening during wear to ensure safer use.
This product uses K18 or Pt900.
Compared to materials like iron, these materials are not as hard, so the screw part may wear out or break depending on usage.
Please be careful not to apply excessive vertical force when screwing in the parts.
If the screw part deteriorates and becomes difficult to use, please contact us for repair or a proposal for remaking it into a different piece of jewelry.
Please contact us via the contact page on our website.
