SHAPE: Round SIZE: apx.8.1mm
COLOR: Light green cream yellow (undyed) GRADE [Nacre Thickness]: Thick
GRADE [Luster]: AAA GRADE [Blemish]: AAA

This undyed Akoya pearl boasts a cream-yellow base with a deep, layered color derived from the nacre, making its exact hue difficult to describe.
While it appears as a slightly greenish cream yellow, hints of pink inside can distinctly emerge depending on the light.
It features a solid nacre thickness and a fine texture, offering the beautiful translucency characteristic of high-quality Akoya pearls.
The chic and elegant color possesses a unique beauty, distinct from other Akoya pearl hues.

About Akoya Pearls
Akoya pearls, often perceived as white, are usually creamy or yellowish in color and often contain black spots or impurities when they are first harvested. Therefore, Akoya pearls undergo a pre-treatment process called bleaching to remove impurities. While this process removes the yellowish tint from the entire pearl, making it whiter, it also removes the natural reddish undertones of the Akoya pearl. To restore this, a small amount of reddish dye is used to apply a “coloring” treatment to the nacre over time. This is not a dyeing (coloring) process but is recognized as part of “enhancement treatment,” a minimal process that brings out the inherent beauty of the material. Currently, Akoya pearls are generally assumed to undergo this coloring treatment, and the value of a pearl is not diminished by having received it; they are still properly evaluated as valuable gemstones. *Undyed Akoya pearls refer to those that have not undergone the coloring treatment after the pre-treatment process.
