The pearls selected for COLLECTIBLE PEARL are truly valuable and rare, meticulously chosen from a vast selection.

The "nacre thickness," "luster intensity," and "degree of blemishes" of the pearls are evaluated based on our company's fundamental assessment standards*. We then further enhance them as COLLECTIBLE PEARL, recognizing their "rarity" based on our professional experience as pearl experts.
This includes items that, despite having flaws, possess special value that outweighs those imperfections.

"Added value" refers to:
・Beautiful or unusual shapes
・Unusual colors
・Rarity due to the size produced
etc.

All items created as COLLECTIBLE PEARL are categorized as 【SQ (SPECIAL PEARL QUALITY)】, and among these, even more exceptionally rare pearls are separately labeled as 【PQ (PRECIOUS PEARL QUALITY)】.

The box on the left is for SQ (Special Pearl Quality), and the box on the right is for PQ (Precious Pearl Quality).

For customers purchasing online, one certificate with a pearl photo will be issued per pearl. (Photos are not included during events.)

 

The determination of whether a pearl qualifies as PQ (Precious Pearl Quality) is also influenced by the quality and market value during the production season, which is unique to cultured pearls.
Furthermore, the decision to certify SQ and PQ is not based on the selling price.
Since there are differences in market trading prices depending on the shape and size of pearls, for example, a deformed pearl such as a drop or oval shape priced at 30,000 yen will have different rarity and preciousness compared to a round shape pearl also priced at 30,000 yen.
A comprehensive judgment is made to certify whether a pearl is PQ.
Both SQ and PQ pearls are high quality, so please choose what you prefer.

The pricing and valuation of pearls lack clear standards like diamonds, so they are also entrusted to the preferences and values of the person making the judgment.
Our grading and evaluation prices are determined based on our company's established standards, which have been built through long years of wholesale pearl trading.
