What is COLLECTIBLE PEARL?

Each pearl is a unique work of art. Unlike precious stones like diamonds, which are cut, pearls are organic gemstones created by shellfish, and each individual pearl harvested has a unique personality that can be enjoyed. They are truly one-of-a-kind gemstones.

That's why, even for us who see pearls every day, there are always new colors and forms, and surprising discoveries that go beyond our imagination, leading to encounters with special pearls.

COLLECTIBLE PEARL is jewelry designed with a screw mechanism that allows you to change parts, so you can fully enjoy such a special pearl as a ring, earrings, a pendant, or even as home decor.

 

About the two grades: [ SQ ] and [ PQ ]

The pearls prepared for COLLECTIBLE PEARL are truly valuable and rare, carefully selected from many.

We will continue to evaluate them according to strict standards and only select pearls "worth collecting," but all pearls made into COLLECTIBLE PEARL will now be classified as
【SQ (SPECIAL QUALITY)】
and among these, even more special and rare pearls will be sold as
【PQ (PREMIUM QUALITY)】

The decision of whether a pearl qualifies as PQ (Premium Quality) also depends on the quality and market price of cultured pearls, which fluctuate with production periods. As of October 2023, the market price of pearls is soaring. If we were to maintain our previous standards, the prices would contradict sCenes' intention for people to wear pearls daily. Therefore, while maintaining rarity, we will be using broader standards for our products than before.

Furthermore, unlike diamonds, there are no clear standards for pearl pricing and value, so it is also left to the preferences and values of the person making the judgment.
The grading and evaluated prices are determined based on our company's standards, which have been established through years of pearl wholesale.
Both SQ and PQ pearls are high quality, so please choose the one you prefer.

Packaging

Your purchased COLLECTIBLE PEARL will be wrapped in linen cloth and delivered in a small glass specimen bottle within a special box.
The color of the foil stamping will differ for SQ and PQ.
Please enjoy the moment you take out your unique pearl from the bottle.

BASE PARTS come in a dedicated parts box with a small pouch and a cleaning cloth for K18 and Pt900.

Additionally, for each COLLECTIBLE PEARL purchased, a certificate of authenticity with a photo of the pearl will be issued.
